Southern Brownies Meet 2010

Brownies from Schools in South Division pitted their skills in Telematch, Dance, Dress-me up, Craft work and Poster Design.

This year's meet is held on 18th March 2010 at Holy Innocents Primary School (Hougang).


All 22 participants participated enthusiastically in the various categories. Glory accompanied 5 of whom won trophies in Dress-me-up & Craft work categories. Well done!

Odyssey of the Mind

Challenge was given to Brownies to "build" a tower with the objective of 'protecting' a raw egg in their craft work. Creative towers emerged & more importantly, cooperative spirits was fostered amongst the sixers.

Welcome to PCP 1st pack in 2010!

Brief notes of our first pack meeting on 10th Feb:
1) Introduction of teachers-in-charge and all members.
2) Good News: We are awarded Puan Noor Aishah Gold Award for 2009.
3) Check Brownie CCA noticeboard in canteen (facing store 1) weekly.
4) Put on Brownie (half-) uniform (ie, T-shirt and bermuda) on every first meeting of each month. New members to purchase uniforms at Guide shop and to retain receipt for MOE subsidy. Check out details of uniform and shop address at http://www.girlguides.org.sg/
5) The Brownie Story: Dramatisation.
6) World Thinking Day Update: All brownies and tweenies to be present at WTD Rally. Submit consent forms at next meeting.
